We are working on a wide variety of projects ranging from small to large residential schemes for local clients, regional and national housebuilders. We are looking for enthusiastic Architectural Technologists or Technicians to join our existing team to assist in design delivery from concept to completion, with a particular emphasis on the production of working drawing packages, specifications, schedules and detailing necessary for RIBA stages 3‑6.
Job Role
You will be asked to work as part of our growing team, working both individually and collaboratively on a variety of projects and stages. We have opportunities for all levels of experience within architectural technology. So, dependant on experience, you will either work under the supervision of senior technologists/directors or as a project leader overseeing a small team of junior technologists. Due to the projects we are involved in, we have opportunities to suit your particular skillsets or areas of interest in building design.
Qualifications and Skills
* Recognised Architectural Technology qualification (HNC/Degree)
* CIAT accreditation preferred. However, we will support you towards achieving accreditation
* Proficient in the use of BIM, preferably ArchiCAD
* Practical working knowledge of UK building regulations, design standards and best practice
* Ability to prepare co‑ordinated technical working drawings, with clear and concise information
* Attention to detail and aspiration to seek high quality architectural solutions is essential
* Ability to communicate with rest of the team as well as clients in a positive and pro-active manner
