Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and efficient payroll services for a large workforce in the aged care industry. processing end-to-end payroll for staff covered by multiple EBAs and awards
Your primary functions will be:
1. End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce
2. Manage new starters, terminations, variations, and retrospective adjustments
3. Process timesheets and leave requests in accordance with multiple EBAs, awards, and payroll procedures
4. Review and verify payroll data, resolve exceptions, and ensure database integrity
5. Administer superannuation, taxation, and other statutory obligations
6. Handle escalated payroll queries with professionalism and accuracy
7. Assist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting
8. Mentor and support less experienced payroll staff
9. Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
Skills & Experience
10. 3+ years’ end-to-end payroll experience in a medium-to-large organization.
11. Strong understanding of EBAs, awards, and payroll compliance requirements
12. Self-starter with a proactive and solutions focused approach
13. Excellent attention to detail, numeracy skills, and accuracy under pressure.
14. Experience working in large team environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration skills
15. Experience with Chris21 and Humanforce is highly desirable.
16. Proactive customer service approach to support the team in delivering excellent service.
17. Strong written and verbal communication skills
