We are looking for a Water Hygiene Technician / Water Treatment Engineer to carry out routine monitoring, maintenance, and compliance tasks across a range of water systems in line with HSG274, ACoP L8, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct monthly hot and cold water temperature monitoring and weekly flushing of low-use outlets.
* Perform showerhead descaling/disinfection and assist with TMV servicing (six-monthly and annual).
* Carry out cold water storage tank inspections, calorifier checks, blowdowns, and basic system condition assessments.
* Take water samples for TVC, Legionella, and closed-system analysis.
* Support cleaning and disinfection of tanks, pipework, and outlets using approved chemicals.
* Replace filters, clean UV sleeves, assist with UV lamp changes, and support dosing pump calibration and chlorine dioxide equipment checks.
* Complete all work to compliance standards with accurate record keeping and reporting.
