Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivatedAssociate with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join its Healthcare Team to represent Defendants, primarily acting for Private Insurers. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence cases, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.The Role
* Manage a diverse caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution
* Provide expert legal advice to insurer clients
* Draft, review and negotiate key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and correspondence
* Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy
* Liaise with clients, medical professionals and expert witnesses
* Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
* Collaborate with colleagues across the Healthcare Team
* Identify and support business development opportunities
* Deliver excellent client care at all times
About You
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence
* Essential: Experience handling complex defendant clinical negligence cases for insurer clients
* Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems
* Professional, organised and detail-oriented approach
