Overview
Our Cleaning Operations Team Leader will report to our Deputy Cleaning Operations Manager. This is 1 of 3 posts providing service cover from 06:00 hours to 20:00 hours, 7 days a week on a rota basis.
Our Cleaning Team Leader supports the day-to-day management of approximately 129 WTE Healthcare Cleaning staff and are vital to maintaining our Trust's Cleaning and Infection Control policies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
* Be visible on the shop floor; support Cleaning Operations staff, carry out visual inspections of cleaning standards, ensure cleaning tasks and cleaning sign-off sheets are undertaken and completed in line with the required cleaning standards.
* Under the direction of the Deputy Cleaning Manager, support the delivery of the highest standard of cleaning services to patients, staff and visitors.
* Play a key role in implementing the proposed new cleaning operations service model to ensure high-quality cleaning services are delivered to the NHS National Standards of Cleanliness and to the Trust's Cleaning and Infection Control policies.
