Humanities Teacher - Secondary School

The Role
Teaching Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, including History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies as required
Delivering engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons that promote curiosity and independent learning
Encouraging students to develop analytical, evaluative, and investigative skills through the study of diverse humanities topics
Supporting students to achieve their academic potential and develop a broader understanding of the world
Participating in departmental planning, assessments, and school-wide initiatives
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning culture within the school communityThe Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching Humanities subjects within a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about promoting critical thinking, enquiry, and discussion across the humanities curriculum
Able to inspire and engage students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
