ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs; assisting with patient exams and supporting providers during testing and procedures; performing diagnostic and testing procedures such as vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and point-of-care testing including strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis; providing cardiac and airway management including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration; delivering wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations; assisting with patient inquiries, communicating test results, and explaining medication or therapy plans; maintaining accurate electronic medical records; observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions; ensuring medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained; maintaining a stocked and sterile workspace; collaborating closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care; communicating effectively with providers and healthcare professionals; and supporting the training of new clinic team members. Required availability includes working 12-hour shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and flexibility to travel to other ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour commute. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, state LPN license with prior IV placement and monitoring experience, BLS certification, compassionate and patient-focused attitude, strong communication skills, trustworthiness with patient confidentiality, teamwork, and technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Bonus qualifications include 1-2 years of patient triage experience in urgent care or emergency departments.
