Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Location: Richmond & Surrey Salary: £34,458 – £44,500 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours) Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 office / 2 home, with flexibility required) Start Date: Early May 2026 (including full handover) About the Role A compassionate, highly organised and emotionally intelligent PA to the Chief Executive is required to support a senior leadership team within a highly impactful organisation. This is a pivotal role involving executive support, governance coordination and a wide range of cross‑organisational responsibilities. It requires maturity, sensitivity and exceptional interpersonal skills, as you will frequently interact with staff, senior leaders, and - when on-site - individuals using the organisation’s services. Key Responsibilities Executive & Administrative Support Managing the CEO’s demanding diary, emails, and communications Responding to and prioritising incoming correspondence Coordinating travel, schedules, meetings and events Maintaining confidential records, filing systems and administrative processes Processing invoices and managing administrative tasks for the CEO’s office Governance & Board Support Supporting Trustees and non‑clinical subcommittees Preparing and circulating board and committee papers Coordinating Trustee recruitment, DBS checks and mandatory training Maintaining digital governance platforms and documentation Taking accurate minutes for committee and leadership meetings (minute‑taking is essential) Meetings & Organisational Coordination Scheduling and supporting internal and external meetings Ensuring logistics such as venues, equipment and refreshments are arranged Providing high‑quality agendas, minutes and action tracking Monitoring policy review schedules using internal systems Assisting with internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO Flexible Support & On-Site Presence Hybrid working is offered, but not always consistent - the CEO may require the PA on-site at short notice to shadow or assist with urgent or last‑minute meetings Willingness to attend occasional out‑of‑hours meetings or conferences, sometimes including evenings or weekends About You This role requires not just competence, but kindness, emotional intelligence, and a genuine ability to interact sensitively with all individuals you may meet through the organisation.
