Due to continued growth, we are looking for aSkilled Van Technicianto join our experienced workshop team at ourPortsmouthsite.
As a Van Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to the highest manufacturer and safety standards. You’ll be working with modern vehicles and the latest diagnostic technology in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
* Saturday work may be required, paid at 1.5 times normal rate
Salary:
Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage)
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
* Performing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics and repairs.
* Completing MOT testing (Class 4/5/7 where applicable).
* Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
* Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet customer expectations.
Ideally, we are looking for:
* Electric Vehicle (EV) trained.
* A valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7), or a willingness to undergo training.
* Strong capability in complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnosis and repair.
* Previous franchised main dealer experience – ideally Fiat or other Stellantis brands.
* Master Technician level within a franchised dealer network (desirable).
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
