Trainee Logistics Clerk - Permanent - £(phone number removed) - Hybrid Working - Liverpool
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Logistics Clerk to join a well-established, successful, and growing logistics company based just outside Liverpool City Centre. The office offers excellent transport links and free on-site parking. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will support the preparation and submission of customs declarations while ensuring all procedures are followed in line with HMRC regulations.
You will act as an extension of our clients’ businesses, helping to manage customs-related activities and ensuring their supply chains move efficiently without delays. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Review documentation received for customs clearance and ensure all required information is present and accurate.
* Submit customs declarations using Descartes e-Customs in compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Work to internal turnaround targets
* Issue completed entry documentation to clients via email.
* Maintain accurate records, ensuring all commercial documentation is retained for audit purposes.
* Process customs amendments promptly and ensure records are updated accordingly.
