Job Description
The successful candidate would operate on a flexible basis between the Jones Offices based in Cork and on sites in the UK & Mainland Europe. They will be responsible for managing the delivery of the electrical works for large value projects such as data centres, high-tech manufacturing facilities and semi-conductor plants. Reporting to the Operations Director / General Manager, this is a client-facing role with overall responsibility for several live projects and securing future turnover.
Your responsibilities
* Reporting to the Operations Director / General Manager.
* Understanding of project planning, construction sequencing and critical path.
* Liaising with the Client and key project stakeholders when required.
* Work directly with the relevant manager to expand the business through tendering and negotiating of new work.
* Review tender submissions, valuation preparation and reporting on same.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with Client.
* Overall responsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Requirements
* Relevant 3rd Level Qualification.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Minimum 15 years experience in a similar role, managing large teams.
* Previous experience in client-facing role is an advantage.
* Previous experience working on European projects is an advantage.
* Strong commercial & contract knowledge.
* Experience in client and multiple stakeholder management.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Confident in presenting to large groups.
