Introduction
The Lead Project Manager(s) for the BBC’s Generative AI Programme will lead key projects to maximize the value of Generative AI, engaging staff, supporting external engagement, and managing innovation pipelines. Strong project management and stakeholder skills are essential.
Responsibilities
* Manage staff engagement activities to promote AI awareness and responsible use
* Lead AI literacy initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
* Support partnership, commercial, and policy activities to benefit the creative economy
* Monitor industry trends, policies, and competition in AI
* Prioritize and manage projects from idea to evaluation, working with the Head of Generative AI Hub
Candidate Profile
* Experience in project management within complex, innovative environments, preferably media or tech
* Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in transformation, innovation, and applying new technologies
* Knowledge of Generative AI and media technologies is desirable
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
