Role Overview:
TEXO Recruitment is working with our client to appoint an experienced Fabricator/Plater to join their Fabrication department. The role will focus on the preparation and fabrication of materials, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction across in-house, site, and offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret in-house and client engineering drawings accurately
* Cut and shape materials using Press Brake, Bending Rolls, Bandsaws, Hand Burner, and Grinder
* Carry out tack welding of fit-ups
* Ensure diligent upkeep of materials traceability in line with Quality Assurance standards
* Work across offshore, site, and in-house environments as required
* Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring personal, team, and environmental safety at all times
* Ensure all work meets client requirements and specifications
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential
* Time-served and experienced Fabricator/Plater
* Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings
* Experience in Pressure Vessels
* Pipefitting experience
* Experience working with a wide range of plate/sections and materials (ferrous & non-ferrous)
