Description
* Prepare and analyse detailed cost reports to support decision-making processes.
* Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Provide accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis.
* Collaborate with different departments to enhance cost efficiency.
* Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
* Support management with strategic planning and financial insights.
* Identify opportunities to optimise operational costs within the industrial/manufacturing processes.
Profile
A successful Management Cost Accountant should have:
* ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
* Experience in cost management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
* Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £52,000 to £55,000.
