Role Overview:
As part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will provide managerial support to maintain and improve customer service levels throughout your section. You will assist in supervising staff and managing daily managerial processes as instructed by Store Management.
This is a part-time role with contracted hours of 36 per week.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints effectively.
* Ensure staff appearance aligns with company guidelines.
* Understand and utilize the Customer Service measuring programme.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets where possible.
* Monitor and maximize staff service levels to boost sales.
* Utilize in-store devices to showcase the full product range.
* Use reports for product placement of key lines.
* Engage customers with visual techniques to encourage purchases.
* Maintain standards on the sales floor and keep stock presentable.
Training & Development:
* Support personal progression and staff development.
* Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
* Help develop existing staff through relevant assessments.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
* Retail supervisory experience is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
