FJA is recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Proposals Lead Engineer to strengthen their existing team.
This role is based in Bury.

Proposals Lead Engineer role:
* Ensure timely receipt of constructability input from delivery partners.
* Collaborate with regional construction leads to ensure appropriate resources are available and deployed to projects.
* Oversee project activities across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management within established thresholds, escalating issues as needed.
* Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing procedures meet or exceed standards.
* Engage with stakeholders according to the communication plan, covering design, construction activities, permits, planning consents, and street works.
Proposals Lead Engineer requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or HND in Civil Engineering with vocational training.
* Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Agent.
* Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary Design & Build (D&B) projects, including civil engineering and MEICA works.
* Knowledge of construction contract law and various contract forms.
* Technical knowledge of construction methods and industry best practices.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, document control systems, Primavera.
* Relevant CSCS Card.
* Training in health, safety, and environmental management.
