Job Description
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance team, ensuring outstanding debt is controlled, cash flow is monitored, and risk is managed effectively.
This vacancy is for a fixed term of 12 months, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is an exciting time to be joining St Austell Brewery and the finance team, as we evolve our ways of working to ensure maximum efficiency.
The Role
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will be responsible for:
* Communicating with customers via telephone and email to take payments and collect overdue arrears. Investigating and resolving any customer queries that prevent payment being made.
* General administration such as updating credit terms and conducting credit searches.
* Communicating with members of our sales teams to provide up-to-date relevant information to support them during site visits.
* Agreeing repayment plans with customers who have difficulty paying.
* Ensuring the company's credit risk policy is adhered to.
About You
* Ability to analyse and interpret data using a variety of tools.
* Passionate and excited about change and challenges.
* A strong communicator and able to escalate issues when required.
* Inquisitive and enjoys problem solving.
* Experience with MS Office suite, including Excel.
* Strong team player, capable of working under supervision and on your own initiative.
