Summary:
The Senior Angiography Technologist role is a specialized clinical and administrative position performing Vascular and Neuro Interventional procedures, as well as supervising daily work in Interventional Radiology. Work is performed under the direction of the Interventional Radiology Manager, in coordination with the Physician Directors of Interventional Radiology through discussion, reports, and observation of results achieved. The role also includes administrative responsibilities in the absence of the IR Manager.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Completion of a two-year program at an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
2. License/Certifications: License as a Radiologic Technologist through the State of Maine or obtain licensure prior to hire is required; Advanced modality registry in VI or CV through ARRT is preferred; Current BLS Certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Five years of interventional radiology experience is required.
