We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality support to individuals in a care home setting, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their wellbeing. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and daily routines, promoting independence where possible
* Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
* Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in the client’s condition
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Support clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans
* Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and health‑care professionals
* Use IT systems to record care activities and update client records
* Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required
Requirements
* Ideally working towards or holding an SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
* An understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conduct
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Have a passion to deliver high levels of care at all times
* SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale
