Higham Ferrers Nursery and Infant School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school and become part of a collaborative and welcoming school community.
We are seeking a skilled HLTA to deliver high-quality sessions covering teacher absence, PPA release time, and leadership release across Nursery to Year 2. The successful candidate will bring a calm, empathetic approach, a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and a strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality.
Training in RWI phonics, Talk for Writing and a Paediatric First Aid certificate would be advantageous. Please see the job description for further information.

Contract: This contract is linked to the funding of a child although you may not be working with that child. If the child leaves the appointment will end.
Hours of Work: You will be required to work 28 hours and 45 minutes per week (8:40 am – 3:25 pm) Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year. Please note that holidays cannot be taken in term time, but an allowance for holiday entitlement is paid accordingly.
Salary: Grade G, Point 8 – 12 (£26,824 – £28,599 pro rata, per annum), equivalent to an hourly rate £ £14.82
