What You Can Expect :Main ActivitiesManage requests for deliveries, collections, relocations and installations for key customersBook jobs for customers on internal system, raise relevant paperwork and maintain up to date information on the company databaseUnderstand the specific requirements of key customers – internal process, customer product etc.Provide quotations to customers on requestLiaise with customers, keeping them constantly updated during all stages of the order lifecycleTake ownership of orders from end to endEnsure a professional and efficient service is delivered at all timesOrder services as required from third party suppliers in relation to customer’s requirementsTroubleshoot problems quickly and identify solutions to minimise impact to customerDeal with ad-hoc customer enquiries by phone and e-mailAssist team members as required and provide support to team leader as directedWork with internal staff to ensure a professional and efficient service deliveryDeal with ad-hoc customer enquiries – quotes, reports, inventory management etc.Sign off supplier purchase orders (to agreed sign off level)Ensure 100% job file accuracy before passing to accounts teamManage team mail box activity efficiently and line with team/department targetsWhat You Bring:Key Skills and ExperienceMinimum 3 years Customer Service experience in a similar roleExperience of working in a transport, logistics or Installations environment desirableMeticulous attention to detail and a customer focused approachStrong general level of educationIT literate, competent user of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent demonstrable communication skills – written and verbalStrong team player with a flexible positive attitude – will need to work extended hours at peak timesCapable of working on own initiative, ability to problem solve and identify corrective actions
