Head of Operations – Fire & Security
A well-established and growing Fire & Security services business is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and develop its national operational function.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, compliance, financial control, and team leadership across installation, maintenance, and remedial services.
The Role
Reporting into the executive team, the Head of Operations will be accountable for driving operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability, while supporting the continued growth and reputation of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations to ensure profitable and compliant service delivery

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives

Oversee engineer scheduling, resource planning, and subcontractor management
*
Ensure delivery against contractual SLAs and customer expectations
*
Maintain full compliance with Fire & Security regulations, health & safety standards, and industry accreditations
*
Manage operational budgets, engineer productivity, and cost control
*
Oversee invoicing processes and contribute to forecasting and reporting
*
Lead, develop, and retain operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture
*
Act as the senior escalation point for operational and client-related issues

Experienced in managing multi-site or national operations
