The Dales School is a consistently outstanding specialist setting on two sites in Northumberland; Blythdale and Ashdale. We provide education for children with a variety of additional needs. We set out to make a difference to the learning, wellbeing and future life chances of the children. The school cultivates a safe and caring environment where children can thrive and have the opportunity to meet their full potential.
As we continue to grow we are looking to appoint highly skilled practitioners with experience of working with children across the primary age range. Candidates should have experience of high communication support needs and experience of supporting autistic children in a SEND setting.
We would like to appoint someone who has nursing experience or has substantial experience in paediatric first aid as the job will include supporting the various medical needs of the children.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
