Equans is looking for a Fabric Manager to join our team in Stoke on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits package.
The role holder will be responsible for the performance of Equans engineers/sub-contractors and maintaining Equans and industry standards within the Stoke Schools PFI contract. To provide advice, guidance, and support to both the client and engineering teams to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
What will you deliver?
* Day-to-day management of Planned Preventative/Reactive Maintenance, ensuring the estate remains statutory compliant.
* Client liaison - providing effective communication to the client and the schools within the contract.
* Overall management of permanent, temporary, and contract engineering staff.
* Management and control of Fabric maintenance operations across the contract.
* Reporting on service management in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
* Ensuring all jobs are managed within the contract budget and providing technical support for the submission of extra works/quotations.
* Ensuring all technical elements of the contract meet the client's requirements.
* Management of sub-contractors.
* Providing a consistent level of service delivery.
* Innovative management to meet changing business or operational circumstances.
* General support and advice concerning Fabric issues.
* Understanding changes in Fabric legislation and regulations and implementing them at the account level as required.

Who are we looking for?
* Time-served (C&G) Fabric qualifications.
* Good working knowledge of building trades.
* Health & Safety knowledge and experience within occupied premises.
* IOSH certification.
* An understanding of priorities, planning, organizing work, and managing own time to deliver within expected timescales.
* Confidence in own ability and motivation to deliver, with opportunities to further develop.
