Role Overview
Support vulnerable individuals at Calverley Hill Service, helping them transition from homelessness to independent living. As a Housing Management Officer, you will provide comprehensive housing services, support, and resettlement to people who are, or have recently experienced, homelessness.
Responsibilities
* Build trust and rapport with clients.
* Assist clients in living independently.
* Encourage participation in social and leisure programmes.
* Support residents with everyday living practicalities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Confident, capable communicator who remains calm in challenging situations.
* Ability to build trusting, professional relationships and demonstrate resilience.
* Asset‑based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths, and talents.
* Knowledge or experience working with homeless or vulnerable populations.
* Understanding of community resources and organisations that can help clients.
Shift Details
Shift pattern: 7 days a week, 8am to 10pm. Shifts are 8 hours: 7.5 working hours plus a 30‑minute break.
Contract
A 6‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
