Description and Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Client Manager to join our UKI Public Sector Sales Team, focused on Central Government accounts. This senior sales role is responsible for driving new business acquisition, developing long-term customer relationships, and retaining existing clients across Lenovo’s full portfolio of products and services.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, respond to complex RFPs, and coordinate virtual teams to deliver bespoke solutions that help our public sector customers achieve their strategic goals. This is a high-impact role requiring a customer-first mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory, aligned with Lenovo’s public sector growth objectives.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with Central Government customers and channel partners to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
3. Create and manage robust account plans for key acquisition targets.
4. Deliver accurate weekly forecasts and pipeline updates to sales leadership.
5. Lead C-level engagements to position Lenovo as a trusted strategic partner.
6. Mentor and manage an aligned Internal Sales Representative to support daily operations.
7. Prospect and qualify new business opportunities independently, both face-to-face and virtually.

Skills & Experience

8. Proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally within the Public Sector or technology industry.
9. Strong ability to develop and close leads both face-to-face and virtually.
10. Facilitate complex negotiations and close high-value deals with precision, excellent communication skills.
11. Experience in building and executing strategic account plans.
12. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
13. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
14. Ability to carry and consistently achieve a sales quota.
15. Security Clearance beneficial
