McCrae Training Ltd is a multi-award-winning Utility Sector training and consultancy business, based in East Kilbride, and we’re on the lookout for a bright, motivated individual to join our dynamic team as Operations Administration Apprentice. This is your chance to get stuck into the fast-moving world of digital operations—gaining hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
The role provides key daily support within an office environment, including answering calls, filing, processing mail (in/out), and accurately processing training programmes via digital platforms and paper-based systems, as well as invigilating training courses.
You will work collaboratively to support our sales team, delivery staff and learners alike.
You will learn how to problem solve to respond and close all enquiries or escalate when required.
You will become the business’s systems expert for our CRM to support task management and report creation. You will learn how to access, manage, and maintain up-to-date delegate information, supporting a data-driven approach to learner management.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, ensuring timely and professional correspondence.
You will learn how to compose weekly and monthly reports to be sent to the Management Team.
Be able to work independently and how to prioritise workload.
National 5 in English & Maths is essential. National 5 in Administration and IT is desirable.

Capable of working independently, using initiative, and managing workload in a fast-paced environment. Committed to completing tasks accurately, on time, and to required standards.
