Are you an experienced print professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? We are looking for a Print Account Manager to join our established Print team in Derby. This is an office-based role, perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating closely with colleagues, supporting customers, and taking full ownership of complex print projects from enquiry to delivery.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for estimating, advising on, and managing the production of non-template and complex print jobs. Youll work directly with customers, liaise with suppliers, and ensure each job is produced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard. You will also support the day-to-day running of the Derby Print department, playing an integral role in delivering exceptional service and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret customer briefs for complex print jobs and advise on production methods and specifications
* Identify appropriate suppliers and determine the most efficient production route
* Manage selected complex jobs from enquiry to completion, including processing sales and purchase orders
* Act as the main point of contact for a designated portfolio of Business Print customers
* Ensure all monthly print invoicing processes are completed accurately and on time
* Maintain and update the Progress/Primo MIS systems
* Support the daily running of the Derby Print department
* Liaise professionally with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure deadlines and SLAs are met
* Provide guidance and support to other team members when required
* Recommend improvements to processes to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
* Ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance at all times
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience within a print and design environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Excellent communication and listening skills at all levels
* High level of attention to detail
* Confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
* Calm under pressure with the ability to use your own initiative
