Why this role is great
This is a hands-on leadership role in one of two key product teams delivering high-impact digital tools. Whether you are building a React Native mobile app or crafting a dynamic form builder as a deployable NPM package, you will play a key role in shaping user-facing products used at scale.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team that includes developers, QAs, mobile engineers, and designers. The work is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly rewarding.
You will:
1. Lead frontend development for mobile and web applications using Vue, React, React Native, and Node.js
2. Guide technical architecture across frontend and serverless components (AWS Lambda)
3. Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to build robust, accessible, and high-performance interfaces
4. Mentor engineers and drive quality through code reviews, best practices, and process improvements
5. Support the move towards fully containerized and automated deployment (AWS, Kubernetes)
About you
You are a frontend-focused technical leader with strong full-stack awareness and a collaborative mindset. You will bring:
1. Excellent experience in frontend development, including Vue, React, or React Native
2. Experience with Node.js, ideally within a serverless or API-driven environment
3. Solid understanding of modern UI architecture and frontend performance
4. Exposure to AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and S3
5. The ability to mentor, guide, and inspire other developers
6. OO experience would be useful too, with Ruby or PHP etc
You might also have experience designing NPM packages, building accessible UIs, or working across multiple stacks. A background that includes both technical depth and leadership maturity will stand out.
