We have an exciting opportunity for a Breast Radiologist to work with an NHS Trust in the East Midlands area. This position is a permanent post and the trust are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP.
Essential Requirements
* Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining a UK CCST in general radiology.
* Ability to undertake screening and symptomatic BU Clinics independently, perform procedures independently such as ultrasound guided biopsies, insert markers, read mammograms for surgical planning, vacuum biopsies etc
* Ability to undertake Breast MDTs both diagnostic and metastatic MDTs.
* Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and share clinical responsibilities
* Experience of contrast enhanced mammography or willingness to learn.
* Ability to supervise and report MRI breast
* Reading screening mammograms with a commitment to undertaking at least 5 breast sessions per week on a flexible basis as per service requirements.
