HR Consultant – New Entity Setup (Poland)

My client is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to lead the setup of our new entity in Poland and support the successful onboarding of employees as we expand across Europe. This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands the complexities of establishing a business presence in a new country and can bring together all HR and operational aspects to get our team up and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the HR setup for our new Polish entity, including compliance, employment frameworks, and local policies.
* Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
* Manage end‑to‑end onboarding processes, ensuring new hires have a seamless experience from contract to first day.
* Establish local HR processes and documentation in alignment with global standards.
* Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to align on entity setup requirements.
* Provide practical guidance on local employment law, benefits, and payroll setup.
* Support the integration of the new country into the wider organisational structure and culture.
About You
* Proven experience in setting up HR operations for new country entities, ideally in Poland or Central/Eastern Europe.
* Strong understanding of local employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex onboarding and compliance processes across multiple functions.
* Excellent project management and communication skills; able to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
* Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are an advantage but not required.
* Comfortable working independently and getting “boots on the ground” to make things happen.
