We currently have a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced Financial Controller / Head of Finance to join our team based at our South Luffenham site. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Financial Management and Reporting Weekly reporting and analysis of company performance for the previous week Preparation of monthly management accounts Oversight year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors. Oversee Credit Control Function Management of credit control process, corresponding directly with customers as necessary. Team Management Managing the transactional team and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, group payroll and accounting functions. Cashflow and Working Capita l Manage cash flow across the group, monitoring funds and bank transactions. Arrangement of hire purchase funding. Financial Controls & Compliance Develop and maintain internal controls. Ensure compliance across the group with HMRC (VAT, PAYE, Corporation tax, etc) Responsibility for the statutory records of the business and ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively. Ensure compliance with other legislation as necessary, such as Employer Packing Regulations. Business Partnering Work with directors and department heads to support strategy and decision making. Liaise with and support the Finance Managers of the two sister businesses. Assist group FD as necessary with budgeting and banking/insurance/legal relationships.
