Job Summary
Reporting to the General Managers, this role is responsible and accountable for providing operational support to all personnel within the Attain RTC testing facility, whilst delivering process improvements to increase capacity and improve the customer experience. You will champion process control within your directly reporting teams to continuously improve performance. You will be expected to actively promote, mentor and support the development of the operations team.
General Summary
* To lead and oversee the operational requirements of the testing facility;
* Ensure all targets are achieved;
* Deliver daily/weekly updates in management meetings;
* Deliver monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly updates to Board of Directors;
* Carrying out such tasks and duties as directed by the General Managers.
Key Responsibilities
To lead operations in all areas:
· Assure the safety of all colleagues, customers and visitors to the site;
· Participate in and support the contract review process to ensure clarity on project requirements;
· Provide day-to-day support to technicians, helping them deliver work efficiently and effectively;
· Coordinate client deliveries, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion;
· Organise and manage materials, including tracking inventory levels and ordering as needed;
· Support and contribute to internal projects as required;
· Identify and implement improvements to internal systems for organisation, scheduling, and material stock management;
· Supervise activities within the hangar, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient workflow;
· Communicate with clients throughout the process — from the PO being raised through to project completion — to ensure they are fully supported;
· Assist with managing the delivery of reports to customers in a timely and accurate manner;
· Maintain records and logs of all jobs and participate in customer feedback processes to help drive continuous improvement;
· Effective close working and communication with fellow management and operational teams;
· Increase the overall speed and agility of the testing operations from receipt of order to delivery;
· Partner with the Safety, Quality & Planning teams to ensure all testing activities are delivered on time and to a high-quality level which are compliant with the relevant standards and certification;
· Drive continuous improvement with demonstrated results around an incident free, safe working environment, delivering right first-time performance;
· Develop and foster a positive, can-do culture throughout the business and its employees;
· Drive financial performance by delivering operational improvements to reduce cost.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Excellent report writing skills, with attention to accurate detail is extremely important;
· Highly motivated flexible individual with good communication skills;
· Able to execute a process driven approach to all tasks;
· Strong people management skills with ability to positively influence, communicate and motivate;
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi task for maximum efficiency;
· Firm understanding of the full order life cycle from receipt to delivery;
· Good understanding of operational and construction requirements to meet the testing standards;
· Experience and general understanding of test methods and standards.
