Key accountabilities:
1. Quality checking digital packaging artwork against supplied information.
2. Utilising the AMS (Artwork Management System) and digital tools to effectively complete quality checks.
3. Liaising with other team members including artwork and admin to ensure excellent communication and efficient ways of working.
4. Accurately reporting quality errors and working as part of a team to reduce future errors.
5. Attending and contributing to team and quality meetings
6. Be the QC lead for a specified customer, supporting the Artwork client lead in managing guidelines and queries internally
7. Provide and support QC and customer specific training within the department
8. General administrative tasks
Knowledge, skills, experience:
9. Experience of quality checking (including copy checking) packaging artwork ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
10. Quality Checking/Proof Checking experience gained in a fast paced, design or print pre-press production background
11. Good standard of English.
12. PC literate.
13. Knowledge of Litho and Flexo printing pre-press specifications would be advantageous
14. Experience of online checking tools and text verification systems.
15. Knowledge of Esko checking tools would be advantageous.
16. Experience of Adobe CC and artwork skills would be advantageous.
