The Sub Regional Neonatal Critical Care Centre (SuRNICC) at Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan provides the best possible standards of care and clinical outcomes for mothers and their babies across North Wales, centralising intensive care at Glan Clwyd Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist to join the BCUHB Neonatal Therapist Services. We have 13.5 hours available for a band 7 Neonatal Occupational Therapist until the 9.10.26 to cover a maternity leave. Main duties of the job The team of Neonatal Therapists across BCUHB are dedicated to neonatal care across BCUHB and have an established physiotherapy, speech therapy and dietetics team within the Glan Clwyd unit. This Occupational Therapist role will be a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team supporting neonatal care. We would like to hear from those with experience working within neonatal care and/ or with a background in neonatal/paediatric assessment and intervention who are interested in building on these skills to work within neonatal care. The ability to develop and evaluate a new service, and work as part of an integrated team will be critical to these roles, and we are looking for occupational therapists who are able to confidently develop and demonstrate the value of Neonatal Therapy in this field. You would be part of a Neonatal Clinical Network group across BCUHB and be expected to participate locally and nationally in Neonatal developments. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
