This role is key in providing support to the office team, across all functions.
Working hours will be Monday - Friday, with main duties including;
· Answering and directing telephone calls
· Responding to general enquiries via telephone and email
· Diary Management, including scheduling appointments for Surveyors
· Typing and issuing quotations
· Liaising with local authorities to check for protective legislation (Tree Preservation Orders or Conservation Areas)
· Data entry on our internal systems
· General administrative duties i.e. filing, scanning, photocopying etc
· Recording and distributing minutes for meetings
· Assisting the Operations with maintaining in-house records for compliance
· Scheduling maintenance works when required (such as MOTs, services and equipment checks)
· Recording any accidents, incidents or near misses
· Preparation of new starter documents for new employees
· Other ad-hoc administration/ office support, as required
Person Specification:
The successful candidate must have;
· Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
· Knowledge of diary management (via Outlook)
· The ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision
· Excellent organisation skills
· Have a flexible approach to work and display a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities
· Strong attention to detail
· Have a confident approach, and be an effective communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
Must have own transport.
