Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to work within our SEN setting. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, differentiated English lessons that meet the unique learning needs of our students while fostering confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
* Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and bespoke learning strategies.
* Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting approaches as required.
Person Specification:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with SEN or SEMH students is highly desirable.
* Strong classroom management skills with patience and empathy.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Commitment to promoting the wellbeing and personal development of students.
