Job Opportunity: Accounting Technician
ARAG UK has an excellent new opportunity for an Accounting Technician in our Finance Department in Bristol on a fixed-term basis.
In this varied role, the successful candidate will work within the Credit Control team, primarily responsible for the reconciliation and allocation of inbound cash. Additional responsibilities include reconciliations, making payments, and cash management. You will also assist the credit controller with debt recovery. Due to the nature of the role, we seek candidates with excellent attention to detail, prioritisation skills, and strong communication skills for conveying financial information to internal and external customers.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* A good level of general education, ideally qualified to AAT Level 3
* Confidence with MS Office/365 applications, especially Excel
* Excellent communication skills, preferably gained in a professional, customer-facing environment
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Commitment to providing a good customer experience
