THE ROLE
BBC Studios is a renowned British creative content studio and channels & streaming business, reaching audiences worldwide.
Responsible for iconic entertainment shows, BBC Studios UK Entertainment excels in Factual-Entertainment, Events, Entertainment, and Music production, creating formats like Strictly Come Dancing, Glastonbury, Antiques Roadshow, and the Coronation of King Charles III.
About the Role
We seek an experienced Talent Executive with at least two years in a senior Talent role. The successful candidate will join the UK Entertainment Talent team full-time to discover and nurture creative talent for our production hubs in Bristol and Cardiff, focusing on heritage brands like Countryfile, Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt, and Gardeners’ World. Support for recruitment across other UK hubs may also be required.
Main Responsibilities
The Talent Team acts as a bridge between production and talent, working directly with programme-makers to source, recruit, and attract diverse talent.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting strategic talent recruitment aligned with business plans.
* Mapping markets, building talent networks, and sharing industry knowledge.
* Building relationships with organizations promoting diversity in television.
* Managing the full hiring process from briefing to offer, including sourcing, advertising, assessment, and negotiation.
* Engaging talent and hiring managers effectively.
* Collaborating with HR to ensure compliance with recruitment guidelines.
* Working with the Production Talent Team to share industry insights.
* Participating in wider BBC Studios initiatives as needed.
Are you the right candidate?
Applicants should have at least two years' experience in a senior talent role, with strong knowledge of the UK broadcast TV and content production market, especially Factual Entertainment talent in Wales and the Southwest. Experience in recruiting for short-form filmmaking and presenter-led programming is desirable. A passion for diversity and inclusion is essential.

Location: Bristol and Cardiff (Hybrid)
Pay: £54,000 - £61,000
