Pertemps are recruiting for a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to support a busy summer turnaround project at astudent accomodation building in central Bristol.
This is a short-term contract ideal for a reliable individual who can deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring rooms and communal areas are refreshed and ready for new students.
Location:BS1 - Central Bristol
Contract Dates:Temporary Assignment ( 4-6 weeks )ASAP START
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00
Pay Rate:£18.00 p/h
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and painting bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and communal lounges
* Filling holes, sanding surfaces, and applying undercoats where necessary
* Touching up scuffed walls, woodwork, and damaged surfaces
* Repainting entire rooms as needed to a high standard
* Ensuring clean and tidy workspaces with proper protection of furnishings and flooring
* Working to tight deadlines and prioritising high-turnover rooms
* Liaising with the maintenance team to report or flag other repair needs
* Supporting general turnaround duties as required, such as minor maintenance or room checks
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in painting and decorating, preferably in residential or accommodation settings
* Good attention to detail with a commitment to quality finishes
* Comfortable working in occupied or recently vacated rooms
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
