Job Title: Pastoral Support Assistant / Behaviour Support Location: Tameside and surrounding areas Start Date: April or September Employer: Teaching Personnel Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available (term-time only) Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Pastoral Support Assistants to work across secondary schools in Tameside and the surrounding areas. These roles are perfect for individuals passionate about supporting students’ wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development in a secondary school environment. The successful candidates will work closely with the school’s pastoral and teaching teams to provide behaviour support, guidance, and mentorship for students. You will assist with monitoring behaviour, supporting interventions, liaising with parents/carers, and contributing to care plans, helping to create a positive and safe school environment. We welcome applications from graduates, care workers, TAs, youth workers, and applicants with no prior experience, as long as you have empathy, confidence, a passion for working with young people, and safeguarding knowledge.
