Job Description:
Join our UK Lifecycle Services team as an Application Support Engineer to support customers through upgrades, application deployments, and maintenance activities on their DeltaV DCS/SIS systems. Engage with Process Systems and Solutions (PSS) customers within the UK and offshore installations, building relationships and becoming a trusted adviser. Support a variety of DeltaV products with a focus on Cybersecurity, including Backup & Recovery, Patch Management, Endpoint Security, and Application Whitelisting. Complete certification paths for these products to deploy and maintain them. Participate in the on-call team providing 24/7 emergency response, requiring regular travel to customer sites (approximately 60-70%).
Responsibilities:
* Develop a deep understanding of DeltaV systems and infrastructure.
* Manage deployment projects from proposal to site execution.
* Perform maintenance on customer systems.
* Support sales efforts by promoting products and services.
* Participate in the on-call rota for emergency support.
* Build positive customer relationships and embrace a customer-focused culture.

Requirements:
* Hands-on experience installing and maintaining hardware and software at customer sites.
* Comfortable interacting with customers.
* Knowledge of computer, network, and control system architectures, including Virtualisation.
* Ability to install Microsoft Windows and DeltaV applications.
* Calm, structured problem-solving skills; know your limits and seek support when needed.
* Ability to write project reports and documentation.
* Flexibility to work offshore, including occasional unsociable hours and weekends.
