Kitchen Assistant Role

Our Kitchen Assistants focus on supporting the kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is based at our attractive hotel in Runcorn (WA7 3HA).

* Dishwashing: All dishes, ranging from pots and pans to cutlery, are either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher.
* Delivery Organisation: Responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organized in the kitchen.
* Storage Management: Organize storage to ensure all ingredients are easily accessible.
* Waste Removal: Empty waste bins and dispose of waste promptly.
* Basic Food Preparation: Support with basic food prep during busy times.
* Material Collection: Assist chefs by collecting materials or ingredients as needed.

Beyond these duties, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring service excellence remains our top priority.

What you’ll bring to the team

Good physical fitness due to time spent on your feet and unloading heavy deliveries. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and adaptability to meet the needs of both the company and guests.
