We are recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join an automotive team in Corby. This role is ideal for an experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician to work on a range of vehicles, completing mechanical repairs and preparing them for remarketing.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Carry out mechanical repairs, including cambelts, clutches, wheel alignment, general wear & tear, and MOT failure work
2. Work efficiently to complete repairs within deadlines and prioritise tasks
3. Report when repairs are not possible or alternative solutions are needed
4. Maintain attention to detail and escalate when cost-effective repairs are possible
5. Keep work areas clean and follow housekeeping standards
6. Follow standard operating procedures and complete documentation accurately
7. Assist with other duties as requested by your manager
Requirements:
8. Experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician
9. Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
10. Good understanding of vehicles with ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults
11. Team player with focus on technical tasks and awareness of wider business goals
