We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to support the care and development of children across our cluster of nurseries in the Grandir UK network. The role offers flexible working hours with a higher rate of pay for flexible staff.

Responsibilities
* Provide a positive practice role model in line with Grandir UK values.
* Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children.
* Supervise and support children at all times.
* Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment.
* Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners.
* Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices.
* Adhere to any changes in policies, procedures and operational practices within the required timescale.
* Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage.
* Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices.
* Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues.
* Ensure confidentiality where appropriate is maintained.
* Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required.
Qualifications and Safeguarding
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. All candidates will be assessed against the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and must hold Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience of nursery care.
