IT Infrastructure Engineer | Stratford-upon-Avon | £45,000 + Benefits
Are you a senior technical specialist who thrives on more than just "fixing tickets"? We are looking for a proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This isn't just a maintenance role; you will be the backbone of the infrastructure development and support, ensuring our systems are high-performing, secure, and aligned with the future IT roadmap. You will act as the escalation point for complex technical matters and drive real value for our operational sites.
The Role
In This Fast-paced, 24-hour Commercial Environment, You Will Troubleshoot, Maintain, And Develop All Areas Of The IT Infrastructure. You’ll be tasked with:
* Infrastructure Excellence: Providing expert support for hardware, software, and network issues while resolving complex technical escalations.
* System Administration: Performing regular maintenance, including updates, backups, and security checks, to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency.
* Modernisation and Deployment: Assisting with the configuration and deployment of new technologies and systems in line with the IT roadmap.
* Asset and Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate records of changes and managing the asset register within the helpdesk system.
* Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for system optimisation and staying updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
What We're Looking For
* Enterprise Systems Pro: You have excellent working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server.
* Virtualization and Cloud: You are proficient in VMware and SAN configuration, with great knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
* Process Driven: You have experience with ITSM tools and work in line with ITIL and security management best practices.
* Qualified Professional: You hold a degree in IT or Computer Science (preferred) and relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Windows Server Fundamentals.
