This is a pivotal role focused on managing our HR data warehouse, where you'll take ownership of data pipelines, integrity, and governance. Working with large-scale datasets across a dynamic workforce of 60,000+ employees, you'll support insights into areas such as labour turnover, demographics, talent, and recruitment. You'll help build and optimise data pipelines to power analytics, reporting, and predictive models, contributing to meaningful business decisions.
A typical day in role includes:
* Design and maintain scalable data pipelines across multiple sources
* Ensure data quality and reliability, resolving gaps and inconsistencies
* Collaborate with suppliers and our Brands analytics teams to deliver data initiatives
* Govern SplashHR architecture: data accuracy, usability, access, and security
* Support and implement change requests in response to evolving business needs
The role would be a good fit for you if:
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and governance
* Proven track record working with large-scale datasets and complex data environments
* Strong grasp of data modelling, architecture, and dimensional design
* Hands-on experience with data quality frameworks, validation, and monitoring
* Ability to collaborate across tech and business teams, aligning data to operational needs
What you will need:
* Programming skills: SQL, with Python or R as a bonus
* Knowledge of ETL design, dimensional modelling, and data architecture
* Experience with data integration from multiple sources (e.g., Oracle)
* Problem-solving mindset and a pragmatic approach to data challenges
* Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices
