Job Description: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on multiple ongoing projects for a highly successful and renowned Construction Company based in London. Projects up to £125M value.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your key responsibilities may vary depending on the nature and stage of the project but can include:
1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
2. Valuations, Variations, sub-contractors measurement and payment, along with completion of job costings on a monthly basis for presentation to Directors.
3. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
4. Performing risk, value management, and cost control.
5. Advising on procurement strategy.
6. Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
7. Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
8. Allocating work to subcontractors.
9. Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
Strong time management and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and manage paperwork.
Candidates with 10 years of QS experience will be considered for this role.
