BEMS Support Engineer – Aberdeen based

Responsibilities
* Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
* Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers.
* Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers.
* Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
* Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
* Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
The Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Familiar with Trend & IQ Vision. Experience with Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, ALC or similar systems would be advantageous; training will be provided where needed.
* Experience working within the building controls industry with an understanding of mechanical plant; time spent in data centre environments is advantageous.
* Proven diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Located within comfortable travelling distance of Aberdeen.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
* PC literate.
* On-call for emergency or breakdown purposes on a rota basis.
