Overview We're looking for a Head of Capability to join our Kier Design team based Nationwide.

Location and hours Location: Nationwide
Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
37.5 hours per week

Role summary As Head of Capability for Principal Design, you\'ll provide CDM and BSA leadership across all design contracts within Kier Design. You\'ll lead the development and implementation of our capability growth plan, collaborating with construction teams to win and successfully deliver multi-disciplinary projects while ensuring safety by design and client satisfaction.
What will you be responsible for? Managing the delivery of the Principal Designer role as required by CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act
Leading on the preparation of fee proposals and taking bids successfully through governance
Coordinating with in-house design capability leaders to ensure effective resourcing of projects
Providing technical leadership and support to design teams in ensuring designs are safe to build and maintain
Promoting an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought and experience is actively encouraged
What are we looking for? You have a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with demonstrable industry experience at a similar level to this role and hold membership to a relevant professional body (ICE, CIHT)
You have experience in CDM regulations and Building Safety Act implementation
